Westmont Hilltop SD is using Comply to track Act 71 Suicide Awareness and Prevention Training and review their district's Suicide Awareness and Prevention Policy.

This item requires each employee to review the district policy and complete the required (4) hours of training in youth suicide awareness and prevention every five (5) years for professional educators in school buildings serving students in grades six through twelve. The Suicide Awareness and Prevention Training course is FREE through Prevent Suicide PA Learning.

When finished with the course, users will upload a copy of their Transcript as evidence and complete a questionnaire indicating that all requirements of the compliance item have been met.  For those users who are certified educators, four Act 48 hours will be submitted to PERMS.
