Newport School District is using Requests in Comply to track and manage field trips along with the need for reserved transportation.
Example Workflow - The request includes a questionnaire that the employee completes for pre-approval, indicating the trip details, related expenses, and transportation information. Employees may also upload evidence such as a student roster and/or list of adult volunteers accompanying students on trip if needed. Once the request is submitted, supervisors, administrators, and accounts payable facilitate a chain of approval.
Throughout the process, the employee receives immediate email updates. At any time, the employee can log into Comply, access his or her My Request page, and see the current status of their request. All completed questionnaires/forms and uploaded evidence are documented within the system and, if desired, can be printed by the employee and/or administrators.
Important Note - The Field Trip Request questionnaire is completely customizable. School Districts can add, remove, and/or modify any specific questions in our template that needs to be district specific.
